What’s new

This release consists of feature enhancements and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over the second month of 2024.

Enhancements

Configurable Recommended Reviewers

Clients now have the ability to adjust the 'number of mandatory reviewers' and 'default number of recommended reviewers' settings within the system. These settings, which show only if the Allow suggested reviewer checkbox is ticked at Journal level, affect the manuscript submission by prompting authors to recommend reviewers they believe would be suitable for reviewing their manuscript.

Notification mailboxes in Website Settings

The Website Settings page displays now the mailboxes that need to be set up based on the editorial workflow of each publisher. So, e.g. the Billing Email does not show up unless the workflow involves a billing step. Bug Fixes

Some of our clients reported an issue with exporting the blacklist from JAMS. This issue has now been resolved and all clients should be able to export this information as an Excel file.
