CYM.2 (2024-10)

This release consists of feature enhancements and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over September and October of 2024.

Enhancements

• JAMS now supports comments during Layout Editing stage. Production editors are now able to leave comments on the layout page for the editorial office in cases where they are in need of confirmation. Also, editorial office is able to use comments in order to leave relevant notes or respond to the production team.

Layout Comments Feed

• Publication URL field has been added to the manuscript Publication Metadata page. This URL is then used in the generation of the Batch XML file for CrossRef in order to include the right Resolution URL information in the file.

New Field in Manuscript Metadata Page

• New feature titled Use Own Team of Layout Editors is now available ensuring easier configuration for clients performing layout editing themselves instead of relying on the JAMS Production team.

Bug Fixes

• Bug preventing voucher search via the Manuscript ID has now been fixed.

• Help Section was missing for some clients, this section has now been added.

• Article type titled Endoped Abstract has been renamed to Abstract.
