This release consists of feature enhancement and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over June 2024.

Enhancements

• JAMS now supports DOI automation available in two variants. While each publisher has an assigned DOI prefix, they can choose to generate the suffix as a random string or as a construct made out of article metadata variables such as journal name, publication year, volume number, issue number and a desired string or a separator. Automatic Construction of DOI Suffix

• New Publication Metadata screen with additional fields has been introduced and is now available from the moment a manuscript has been accepted. Filling out necessary manuscript metadata is mandatory in order to proceed to conversion and in case the publisher opts for automatic DOI suffix generation.

Bug Fixes

• An issue that has been preventing notifications to the production team has now been resolved.

• A bug which influenced display of billing step in the workflow for new tenants has now been fixed.
