What’s new

This release consists of feature enhancements and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over the first quarter of 2023.

Enhancements

• When peer-review is closed, all pending review invitations now expire and won’t let the user submit a review. The message below is now returned in such cases.

• When peer-review is closed, the system will now mark all the review records of not-invited reviewers as automatically deleted. As per previous behaviour, the system was removing the review records (that would disappear from the Process Manuscript screen).

Review request before peer-review closure

• Review invitation history (if present) is now displayed also for reviewers that were added via the bulk csv import.

• The fields Author Comment and Invoice Comment are now displayed on the APC invoice in both online html and pdf formats.

Bug Fixes

• In the Edit Reviewer Info screen, all edits to a reviewer are now persisted. This fixes a bug causing updates to reviewer’s info to get lost some times.

• The logic of the Conflict of Interest check has been fixed to kick in when adding a reviewer through the Search and Add Reviewer as well as the Search Reviewers in JAMS and Scilit functions.

• The search of a manuscript title based on a partial match now works across all JAMS customer instances.
