What’s new

This release includes fixes for bugs and issues reported in March and April of 2024, along with new features and feature enhancements.

Enhancements

By addressing particular demands and specifications in this release, new features and feature modifications have been added.

• Academic Editors are now able to access history of their Pre-check decisions once logged into JAMS.

Pre-check Decisions History

• Editor’s decision making process for manuscripts has now been simplified. Number of necessary steps to provide a decision has been reduced as additional decision validating has been removed.

Handling Editors now only have one decision confirmation step

• Since this release, Manuscript Feed will show information on when manuscript has been successfully interfaced through FTP.

• Manuscript Feed now also holds data on when automatic reminders have been sent out.

Bug Fixes

• Bug which was preventing reviewer search via Scilit has now been fixed.

• Recommended and excluded reviewers provided by authors are now shown in their appropriate categories on the manuscript page.
