This release consists of feature enhancements and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over April and May 2024.

Enhancements

When editing email templates, it is now possible to include TO, CC and BCC recipients in two ways. The first option titled Dynamically Set allows the input of users registered in the system such as Handling editor, Publisher, Co-Authors etc. According to these roles, the system will automatically include recipients according to the manuscript in question. The Manually Added field allows input of custom email addresses, in case the editorial office wishes to include recipients outside of current system roles.

Customizing Recipients in Email Templates

For journals whose websites are hosted by JAMS, we have enhanced the search functionality to take into account not only the article titles but also abstracts and keywords.

Updated Website Search

Bug which influenced sending voucher notification email to reviewers has now been resolved.
Some of our clients reported that cover letter file in the Display Log is not titled correctly, this has now been fixed.
